This download replaces the default Gloucester, updating 08/26 and 03/21 runways but does not remove the redundant 18/36 or 04R/22L. It also adds a fictional CIX club apron to the maintenance area and swaps the Aviator Cafe for the CIX clubhouse. The new apron and its parking spots have been positioned to match those in our MSFS and XP12 sceneries.

Our member Frank Fisher has created new scenery for our new for 2018 base at Sherburn-in-Elmet, copying real world buildings and taxiways etc., as faithfully as possible. Our Member Max Symons has transported the excellent Club facilities which were at Biggin Hill to Sherburn-in-Elmet, and positioned the buildings to fit Frank's new scenery. The two sceneries packages plus installation instructions are included in the download.

We have updated the XP12 airfield and placed a fictional, CIX club apron adjacent to taxiway E. The new apron and parking spots have been positioned to match those in our XP11 and MSFS sceneries. The remainder of the airfield has been returned to real-world layout with the removal of the previous, fictional south apron.

Max Symons has created custom scenery for X-Plane 11 for the new (2021) Club base at Fife. This is a challenging unlicensed airfield and adds a new dimension to our regular activities. ALL pilots are strongly recommended to read the Club's data sheet for Fife, Both approaches are restricted, especially for Rwy24. They will require practice.
Although no longer an official Club base (2021), our former Club facilities at Biggin Hill are still available for installation in X-Plane.

VRPsSelect has a database of nearly 4000 visual reporting points in over 20 countries worldwide.
The user can export VRPs in several different formats to be used with all the major flight simulators, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, Prepar3D, X-Plane and FSX. In addition, the major VFR flight planners Little NavMap and PlanG are also supported. The Reality XP GTN 750/650 TOUCH is also supported.
VRPsSelect will also export the VRPs in a format that will create scenery for each flight simulator to place a small water tower marking the VRP. The size of the water towers can be specified so that inexperienced users may require a larger and more visible marker whilst experienced users may require a smaller marker. The idea is to ensure a VRP has been identified, not to create an easy way to navigate from one to the other. To follow the development of this application, please follow this Club Forum topic.
