The CIX VFR Clubhouse at Biggin Hill was created by Pete Chapman and Ted Andrews for FS9, in 2007. It has been updated for FSX and moved further east, as the real world airport management have installed a refuelling station where our Clubhouse was (without asking!).
This version of the new FSX scenery works with UK2000 Biggin Hill. Versions for the default Biggin Hill and Orbx Biggin Hill will be created if there is sufficient demand.

INSTALLATION
Suggested Folder Structure.
CIX VFR Club has created a number of sceneries for different purposes, so the recommendation is that you create a CIX VFR Club folder within FSX\Addon Scenery, and put the CIX-Biggin scenery folder in the CIX VFR Club folder like this: -
Addon Scenery
      CIX VFR Club
            CIX-Biggin
                 Scenery
                 Texture

1) Find and delete any existing CIX VFR Club Biggin Hill scenery in your system. If you are unsure where you put it, find and delete the files Cix biggin.bgl, CIX_SIGN_9X.bgl and CIX_SIGN_9X_API.BGL
You also need to delete the texture files cix_board_ahead.bmp, cix_board_l.bmp, cix_board_r.bmp, cix_park_l.bmp and cix_park_r.bmp. It is probably a good idea to delete door_sign.bmp if you find it anywhere outside the current download.

2. Extract the current download to a temporary location.

3. Move or copy the "CIX-Biggin" folder into the FSX/Addon Scenery folder/CIX VFR Club as above.

4. Move or Copy the file "door sign.bmp" into your main FSX textures folder. THIS FILE MUST GO INTO THE FSX MAIN TEXTURE FOLDER.

5. Move or copy the "Static Objects Library" folder into the FSX/Addon Scenery folder (note: not the CIX VFR Club folder but the level above)

6. Activate both the "CIX-Biggin" scenery and the Static Objects Library in the usual way.

CREDITS

The original scenery was compiled using the EZ-Scenery programme by Abacus. It included within it, scenery objects produced by a number of very talented people, who provide their products free of charge for the enjoyment of the flightsim world.

Special thanks have to go to Ted Andrews for the fantastic CIX Club Clubhouse, and the "BUMS" Chair delivery lorry, which he produced specifically for inclusion in this file.

The move was carried out by Peter Dodds, CEO of CIX VFR Club, using SBuilderX and Airport Design Editor with the kind permission of Pete Chapman. The new signage for FSX was created by Ken Greer, CIX VFR Club, The new signs were designed and made by FS Design Studio ver3.5. The Library bgl was created by Library Maker which is part of the Instant Scenery programme, and placed using ADE by Peter Dodds.
