The Cix VFR Club is a group of Flight Simulation enthusiasts who like flying extremely realistic simulated light aircraft, chiefly around the United Kingdom, across a computer generated landscape made up of real photographs, within an Internet community environment. For more details see http://www.cixvfrclub.org.uk.

INSTALLATION

1. Browse to your main Flight Simulator X Folder and open it.

2. Look for the folder 'Simobjects', and within that folder 'Airplanes' (NB not 'Aircraft')

3. Copy the 'C172' folder and then paste it into the same 'Airplanes' folder. The folder will be called C172 - Copy

4. Rename the folder to 'C172-CixVFR'

5. Delete all the Texture folders from the 'C172-CixVFR' folder.

6. Copy the Texture.Cix_VFR folder from this distribution into the 'C172-CixVFR' folder.

7. Delete the aircraft.cfg file from the 'C172-CixVFR' folder.

8. Copy the new.aircraft.cfg file from this distribution into the 'C172-CixVFR' folder.

9. Rename the file 'aircraft.cfg'.

10. Open FSX and the aircraft selection window. You will see two new Cessna 172s in the Aircraft list. Each has the Cix logo in the top left hand corner of the thumnail to help identify them. To see them both, you will need to have "Show all variations" ticked.
